1. A song presenter must be an active, resistered, and member in good standing with the Dallas Chapter of the GMWA.
2. Music will have to be submitted to the Minister of Music or Assistant Ministers of Music, two weeks prior to teaching in rehearsal in the form of audio with lyrics and musical score if available. This will ensure the Chapter musicians that will accompany will have knowledge of the music as well as the Misisters of Music approving the selection to be taught.
3. Musicians should be able to assist or avail themselves in the teaching and or playing when needed and called upon.
4. Song presenters will have a time allotment of 15-20 minutes (dependent upon how many presenters presenting at a particular rehearsal).
5. Any guest artist, musicians, teacher, composer outside of the parameters of these guidelines will be chosen and selected by the Chapter Representative and or the Ministers of Music with Chapter Representative approval.
6. All presenters will provide copies of the words to song(s) presented at Chapter rehearsals and musical scores when applicable.
7. Music presenters will be allowed to have their own accompanists, if they so choose, however, this again, is to be shared in advance with the Ministers of Music.
